Millburn Short Hills Democrats Announce Candidates

The Millburn-Short Hills Democratic Committee is proud to announce its candidates for Township Committee, Maggee Miggins and Sanjeev Vinayak.

Miggins is a 22-year Millburn resident and runs a real estate team in town.  She lives with her husband, Michael, and has two children. Miggins is an active member of the community and is a founding member of the Cultural Engagement Diversity and Arts Committee, former President of the Township Beautification League, a sustaining member of the Junior League of the Oranges/Short Hills and is a member of the Memorial Day Parade Committee.

Vinayak is a proud Millburn resident and is raising two children, who are in Millburn Public Schools, with his wife.  Professionally, he works in the field of supply chain and operations, where he turns around struggling businesses. He holds a graduate degree from Pace University.

"We're thrilled to have two quality candidates in Maggee and Sanjeev running this year," said Millburn Democratic Chair Annette Romano.  "Leadership is important. Maggee and Sanjeev bring experience and deep commitment to our community to the table," Romano continued.

"I love our community," said Miggins.  "Being a long-time resident and business owner in town has given me the opportunity to get to know our residents and the needs of the community.  I look forward to bringing my experience to the Township Committee."

"My wife and I put down roots in Millburn because of all that it has to offer - a sense of community, diversity, great schools and direct trains to NYC," said Vinayak. "I am thrilled to have been endorsed by the Millburn-Short Hills Democrats to run for Township Committee," he continued.

"We're ready to get to work electing strong leaders like Maggee and Sanjeev and re-electing Congressman Tom Malinowski," said Romano.
