Newly elected to the Township Committee, Sanjeev who along with his wife Shirin, two children (who are fortunate to be a part of the fantastic Millburn Township Public School System) and puppy is excited for the opportunity to be engaged at the highest level of our township.
Sanjeev is a passionate resident of Millburn and has been an active voice, representing the opinions of numerous residents on several township actions over the past years. He has also volunteered his time as a part of many athletic groups in the community. Professionally, he has co-founded and currently partners in a private equity fund garnered in the food industry. With this expertise in managing businesses for financial success, and a graduate degree from Pace University, he can provide operational experience and critical financial thinking to the current challenges.
Sanjeev plans to leverage his business experience to better manage the fiscal responsibilities and budgetary challenges faced by the Township in these troubling times. Another focus area he plans to lend his experience to securing potential partnerships and determining strategies towards building the safety and security of our township and its residents. Finally, inclusiveness of our town’s residents' thoughts and voices will be an important component of his platform. His belief lies in the Township deserving competent leadership and complete transparency in strategic decision making and guidance. He will make himself available to listen, communicate and help maintain the strength and vitality of our community through consensus building and buy in.
