Jordana Horn

 

Jordana Horn is running for District Leader of District 14 with her husband, Jon Gordon.

Jordana grew up in Short Hills and attended Millburn High School, and returned to raise her six children in the town where she grew up. She was an undergraduate at the University of Pennsylvania, where she was executive editor of The Daily Pennsylvanian and President of the Class of 1995. She attended the London School of Economics for graduate school in international relations and international law. She returned to the University of Pennsylvania for law school, and has practiced law in New York and London.
Jordana is also a writer, podcaster and journalist. She has appeared as a 'parenting expert' on NBC and FOX, and is currently writing a book on parenting. She hosts the podcast "Call Your Mother," and has written extensively for The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal and other publications. She is a contributing editor at Kveller.com.  She is on the board of trustees of Jewish Family Services.
Jordana is the Essex County representative on Congressman Tom Malinowski's steering committee. She is the Get Out The Vote co-chair of the National Council of Jewish Women/Essex County, as well as chair of the Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest NJ Community Relations Council's Election Committee.
She has done extensive work for Lift Every Vote to mobilize Georgia voters, and analogous work in New Jersey through Action Together New Jersey. She has led various voting rights and access initiatives locally, and believes strongly in the paramount importance of voting access, voter communication and, of course, voting.
